A Healthy Lifestyle

Hey Guys!

So no one looks at my blog.... WHATEVA!!! So I'm trying to live a healthier lifestyle, by eating less, and eating better things for me. Walking and running on the treadmill when I am home alone, drinking more water, the list goes on. I appreciate all the support I have gotten from my friends and family during this process :)

So I'm counting down the days till New York.... (in case you were wondering, it's 8) And doing some final packing. I've been almost fully packed for about a week now. You can call me passionate or crazy, but I like both terms :) I'm really blessed to be going and getting a backstage tour! All my dreams are coming true! (well... MOST!) I would like it known that I am most probably wearing my sparkly suspenders to Newsies. And I have lots of beanies to deliver.

Anyways, I've got to go get ready to help with concessions at Sturgis Youth Theatre's "The Glass Slipper"! I'll update you on my life as things get crazier!

The Soundtrack.

Hey guys. I can barely even listen to the soundtrack of Newsies without feeling sad. I was hoping that I would wake up this morning, and realizing that yesterday was a nightmare. But that's not how it works. I checked twitter,and sure enough, Newsies is still closing. My parents, are trying to get all of their friends flying miles so I can go and see the show one more time. My dad is asking around with his friends to see if they'd let me stay with them if I could go to NYC. My parents are too good to me, and I don't deserve such kind treatment. I've always been an awful daughter. And I really don't deserve all the kindness I am currently receiving. But Newsies is closing. Yes, it's going on tour, but it's  not the same. I was offered a backstage tour from Andy Richardson, and now I'll never get it because I probably won't make it back to see Newsies at the Nederlander. One can dream I guess.

The Day the World Ended- But Not Really

As you all should know by now, Newsies has announced it's final Broadway performance, August 24th, 2014. And if you know me, you know I live in Iowa and cannot afford to make the trip to go see Newsies, and all of the people who have saved my life this past year, before the show closes. Newsies has been a light in the darkness of self-harm, anxiety and middle school. The story has always been an inspiration to me- teaching me to never let the corrupt parts of the world be hidden and not spoken for. So I'm speaking for my own corrupt actions. I'm publicly apologizing for lashing out at people tonight, about them getting tickets. I'm very happy for all of you and I'm sorry that I lashed out at all of you. Newsies has always been important to me, and the fandom has always made me feel lesser of myself because I've only seen it once. I take back everything I've said, and I'm so so sorry. This is a time when our fandom needs to unite in our grief instead of pushing each other away as I was doing. I was also sorry for lashing out about people who have seen the show multiple times. It's hard for me to see other people have so much connection with the show and actors, and then compare it with mine, which I never should have done in the first place. Everyone's story is different and special. I'm so, so, sorry.

WELL HELLO YOU LITTLE SHITS

Hello kiddos,

So you swagalicious bastards, I haven't posted in awhile and I'm so flipping sorry about that! So that musical sucked butt, I mean the theatre is beautiful, and the acoustics were good but the story doesn't fit for a musical- there was a random song about swedish fish or something like that? I don't even remember. But the guy actors were HAWWTTTTTTT!

Seeing narnia the musical!

We are in the rose theatre in Nebraska and its so beautiful! We are about to see a musical so I'll blog with a review later!
